1953 GMC Pickup Street Rod

This sweet little GMC started off in Charlie's shop for a complete "ground up" street rod project. Jim wanted to keep it close to stock in appearence, but wanted all the updated goodies. Charlie started off with a bare frame and went to work installing a Mustang II front, 4-link rear, 4 wheel power disc - Wilwoods, Tilt column, 350 Crate motor, tranny, etc. etc.

This little GMC was in and out so quickly, I did not have a chance to get the photos of the build as I would have liked. Jim had this build so well coordinated that it was here one day and gone the next, yet would return for another session, then gone again. It was hard to keep up!

     

From Charlie's shop to the body shop, then back again, then next door to Sky's Seat Cover Center and now back for the final adjustments, this is one fine pickup! Check out the majic that Sky worked with the interior. SWEEEEET!
